Pete Doherty, a British musician, songwriter, and writer, is best known as the lead singer of the influential rock band, The Libertines. He has released several successful albums with The Libertines and as a solo artist. Doherty’s notable works also include his time as a columnist for the Daily Record and his poetry collection, “The Books of Albion.” Additionally, he has collaborated with other musicians, such as Babyshambles and The Puta Madres. Apart from his music career, Doherty made a brief appearance in the 2012 British film “Confession of a Child of the Century.” Despite his controversial past, he has recently gained attention for his commitment to sobriety and his return to the music scene with a new album.
