Omar Bravo, a retired Mexican footballer, is renowned for his impressive career with Chivas de Guadalajara and Sporting Kansas City in the MLS. As a top scorer in the Clausura 2007 tournament, he won the CONCACAF Champions’ Cup twice with Chivas. His other notable accomplishments include winning the 2004 Interliga and Copa MX with Chivas and being named to the Liga MX Best XI in 2003, 2004, and 2007. José Luis Real introduced Bravo to the Guadalajara youth system, and he made his senior team debut in 2001. He quickly became a regular starter, playing a crucial role in the team’s successful seasons. Bravo also represented the Mexican national team, starting in 2002, and signed with Phoenix Rising FC in 2017. An interesting fact about Bravo is that during the 2002 Apertura, he became a regular starter for Guadalajara, playing in 15 games and scoring six goals.
