Neil Fingleton (18 December 1980 â 25 February 2017) was a British actor and former basketball player who gained fame for his role as Mag the Mighty in the television series Game of Thrones. He also appeared in films such as X-Men: First Class, 47 Ronin, and Jupiter Ascending. Standing at 7 feet 7 inches (232.6 cm), Fingleton was the tallest living British-born man and ranked among the 25 tallest men globally. He played professional basketball in various countries, including England, Spain, China, Italy, and Greece, before transitioning to acting. Fingleton passed away in 2017 at the age of 36.
