Malina Weissman is an American actress best known for her roles as Violet Baudelaire in the Netflix series “A Series of Unfortunate Events” and as Young Kara Zor-El in the TV series “Supergirl.” She made her acting debut in the 2013 short film “One Last Time” and has since appeared in numerous films and television shows.
In addition to her acting career, Malina is also an accomplished dancer and has studied ballet, tap, and jazz. She is fluent in German and English and is an advocate for animal rights and environmental protection.
In 2018, Malina won the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series – Leading Young Actress for her role in “A Series of Unfortunate Events.” She was also nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series for the same role in 2019.
