Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, better known by her stage name Lizzy, was born in New York City and raised in Lake Placid, New York. She later moved to New Jersey and attended Fordham University but dropped out to pursue a music career. Lizzy began performing in clubs in New York City in the late 2000s and released her debut album, “Lana Del Rey,” in 2010. She gained recognition with her breakthrough single, “Video Games,” in 2011, which reached number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Lizzy’s distinct musical style blends elements of pop, rock, and alternative music, and she has collaborated with various artists, including The Weeknd, ASAP Rocky, and Stevie Nicks.
