Louis Feinberg, known as Larry Fine, was a talented American actor, comedian, and musician. He gained fame as a member of the comedic trio The Three Stooges, portraying the bald, lisping character. Some of his notable works include “Dancing Lady”, “Soup to Nuts”, “Swing Parade of 1946”, “The Outlaws Is Coming”, and “Kook’s Tour”. Besides his comedic skills, Fine was an adept musician, proficient in playing the violin, mandolin, and guitar. He started his career in vaudeville with “The Haney Sisters and Fine” before teaming up with Ted Healy and Moe Howard to create The Three Stooges. Fine appeared in over 200 films before retiring in 1970 due to a stroke and passed away on January 24, 1975, in Los Angeles, California. An interesting aspect of Larry Fine’s life is that he began performing as a violinist at a young age before joining the renowned comedy act, The Three Stooges.
