Justin Vernon, an American singer-songwriter, is best known as the frontman of the indie folk band Bon Iver, which he founded in 2006. He received critical acclaim for his debut album, “For Emma, Forever Ago,” which he recorded in solitude in a Wisconsin cabin. Some of Bon Iver’s most notable works include “22, A Million” and “i, i.” Vernon has collaborated with various artists, such as Kanye West, James Blake, and Taylor Swift. He also co-founded the Eaux Claires music festival in Wisconsin. Apart from his music career, Vernon has a passion for basketball and has performed the national anthem at Milwaukee Bucks games. In 2018, he organized a basketball match between musicians and NBA players during the Eaux Claires festival.
