John Theodore Wisniski, better known as Johnny Valentine, was an accomplished American professional wrestler whose career spanned nearly 30 years. Renowned for his hard-hitting style and multiple championship reigns, Valentine had memorable rivalries with fellow wrestlers Bobo Brazil, Pat O’Connor, and Buddy Rogers. Throughout his career, he was inducted into four wrestling halls of fame and mentored future wrestling icons, including Ric Flair and his son, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine. Sadly, a plane crash in 1975 caused injuries that forced him to retire. Johnny Valentine passed away on April 24, 2001, at the age of 72.
