Jimmy Cliff, a Jamaican reggae and ska artist, is a multi-talented musician, actor, and singer known for his hit songs “Many Rivers to Cross” and “The Harder They Come.” These tracks were featured on the soundtrack of the 1972 film ‘The Harder They Come,’ in which Cliff also starred. This movie and its soundtrack played a significant role in introducing reggae music to a global audience. Some of Cliff’s other popular works include “Wonderful World, Beautiful People,” “You Can Get It If You Really Want,” and his rendition of Johnny Nash’s “I Can See Clearly Now.” He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his contributions to the music industry.
