Jasmine Richards is a Canadian actress and writer. She is best known for her role as Margaret Browning-Levesque in the television series “Naturally, Sadie”. Other notable works include her roles in “Overruled!”, “Aaron Stone”, “Picture This”, and “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam”. Richards has also written a book series called “The Book of Wonders” and is involved with activism work through her organization “Breaking Barriers”.

Jasmine Richards’s name was given to her by her mother who was inspired by the song “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother” by The Hollies. The song contains the lyrics “The road is long, with many a winding turn, That leads us to who knows where, who knows where, But I’m strong, strong enough to carry him, He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother.” Her mother replaced “he” with “she” and named her daughter Jasmine because of the flower’s peaceful and calming nature.

Jasmine Richards is an advocate for social justice issues and has been involved in a number of social activism campaigns. In fact, she is the founder of an organization called “Breaking Barriers” which aims to empower youth and address systemic inequality. Through her work with this organization, and other advocacy campaigns, Richards hopes to inspire positive change and make a difference in her community.
