Jack T. Chick was an American cartoonist and publisher, renowned for his line of contentious religious pamphlets known as Chick tracts. His most famous work, “This Was Your Life!”, has sold over 100 million copies worldwide, while other notable works include “The Wall,” “The Sissy,” and “Dark Dungeons,” which portrays the dangers of role-playing games. Although criticized for promoting bigotry and intolerance, Chick is still a respected figure in some religious circles. He passed away on October 23, 2016, at the age of 92.
