Gillian Barber, a versatile actress born in Coventry, West Midlands, England on February 22, 1958, has made a name for herself in both stage and screen roles. Raised in British Columbia, Canada, she studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the University of Victoria’s BFA program.
Barber is best known for her role as Catherine Black in the Canadian TV series “Da Vinci’s Inquest” and as Jillian in the sci-fi series “Stargate SG-1”. She has also made appearances in popular TV shows such as “The X-Files”, “Supernatural”, and “Fringe”. Her performance in the stage play “The Dazzle” earned her a Jessie Richardson Theatre Award.
In recent years, Barber has remained active in the entertainment industry, appearing in TV shows like “The Romeo Section” (2015), “Chesapeake Shores” (2016), and “The Man in the High Castle” (2015).
