Gavin Lee, a British actor, director, and choreographer, is best known for originating the role of Bert in the West End and Broadway productions of “Mary Poppins.” His portrayal earned him a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical, a Drama Desk Award, and a Tony Award nomination. Lee has also participated in other productions such as “Sesame Street” (as a puppeteer), “Top Hat” (as Jerry Travers), and “Beauty and the Beast” (as Lumiere). In addition to his theater career, Lee is an accomplished magician, performing his magic act at various venues worldwide.
