Eddie Hermida, a Venezuelan-born vocalist, gained prominence in the deathcore scene for his work with death metal bands All Shall Perish and Suicide Silence. He joined Suicide Silence in 2013 as the successor to their late frontman Mitch Lucker, and his vocal abilities and unique style have earned him recognition within the metal community.
Hermida’s accomplishments and collaborations include writing the lyrics for most tracks on Suicide Silence’s 2014 album “You Can’t Stop Me,” forming a new project called CORVID-19 with Jamie Cronander and Richard Alexander Caraballo, releasing the debut single “Hack” with CORVID-19, appearing on Suicide Silence’s controversial self-titled album, and performing at the Black Sabbath tribute show.
