David Dobrik is a Slovak-American YouTuber, vlogger, and social media personality. He rose to fame on the short-form video platform Vine before gaining wider success on YouTube with his vlog-oriented content and elaborate stunts.
Born on July 23, 1996, in Košice, Slovakia, Dobrik moved to Vernon Hills, Illinois, with his family at a young age. He attended Vernon Hills High School and briefly attended college before dropping out to pursue a career on social media.
Dobrik started his career on Vine in 2013, where he gained popularity for his comedic videos and collaborations with other Vine stars. In 2015, he launched his YouTube channel, which quickly amassed a large following. He is known for his vlogs, challenge videos, and collaborations with his friend group, the “Vlog Squad.”
Dobrik has achieved significant success on YouTube, with over 18 million subscribers and over 1 billion views on his videos. He has won numerous awards, including two Streamy Awards for Best Vlog Series and a Shorty Award for Best YouTube Ensemble.
