Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ, a former Jamaican cricketer, represented the West Indies between 1984 and 2001 and is considered one of the greatest fast bowlers in cricket history. Throughout his career, Walsh participated in 132 Test matches and 205 One Day Internationals (ODIs), securing 519 and 226 wickets, respectively. As a member of the West Indies team, he contributed to two Cricket World Cup victories in 1979 and 1983. In 2010, Walsh was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame. Additionally, he captained the West Indies in 22 Test matches and was appointed as the Bangladesh cricket team’s bowling coach in 2016.
