Christine Ha, an American chef, writer, and TV host, rose to fame as the first blind contestant on the cooking show “MasterChef,” winning its third season in 2012. This victory led to the publication of her bestselling cookbook, “Recipes from My Home Kitchen.” Ha, who holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Houston’s Creative Writing Program, is also an advocate for socially marginalized individuals. She recently opened her first restaurant, The Blind Goat, which offers a primarily Vietnamese menu with global influences.
