Christine Cavanaugh was a renowned American voice actress recognized for her unique vocal style and iconic roles in 1990s cartoons. She was famous for voicing Chuckie Finster in “Rugrats,” Dexter in “Dexter’s Laboratory,” and Babe in the film “Babe.” Additionally, she lent her voice to Gosalyn Waddlemeyer-Mallard in “Darkwing Duck,” Bunnie Rabbot in “Sonic the Hedgehog,” and Oblina in “Aaahh!!! Real Monsters.” Cavanaugh received an Annie Award and earned two Daytime Emmy Award nominations. In 2001, she retired from voice acting and led a private life in Utah until her passing in December 2014 at 51 years old.
