He also hosted “The Chris Matthews Show,” a weekend news and political roundtable program produced by NBC News. Matthews has written several books on politics, such as “American: Beyond our Grandest Notions” and “Tip and The Gipper: When Politics Worked.” However, in 2020, he faced sexual harassment allegations, which resulted in his departure from MSNBC.
