Chris Elliott, an American actor, comedian, and writer, is best known for his comedic sketches on Late Night with David Letterman, creating and starring in the comedy series Get a Life, and writing and starring in the cult classic film Cabin Boy. He has also appeared in notable films and shows such as Groundhog Day, Schitt’s Creek, and There’s Something About Mary. Elliott has won 4 Primetime Emmy Awards for his work in comedy writing and is the son of Bob Elliott, a member of the comedy duo Bob and Ray. Although Cabin Boy initially failed, it has since gained a cult following.
