He gained fame for his Oscar-winning performance in the 2002 film “Adaptation.” Cooper has since starred in numerous critically acclaimed films, including “American Beauty” (1999), “Seabiscuit” (2003), “Capote” (2005), “Syriana” (2005), and “The Bourne Identity” (2002).
