His journey began at the tender age of 6 when he discovered his natural talent for gymnastics. Throughout his high school years at Spring High School, Brooks excelled not only in gymnastics but also academically.
Brooks’ gymnastics career skyrocketed in the early 2000s as he dominated the national scene. He claimed numerous Junior Olympic National Championships and proudly represented the U.S. Junior National Team. His international debut came in 2004 at the World Championships in Anaheim, California, where he showcased his exceptional skills.
As a two-time Olympian, Brooks represented the United States at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics. His crowning achievement came in 2008 when he captured a bronze medal in the men’s team all-around competition, etching his name in Olympic history.
Beyond the Olympic stage, Brooks continued to shine. He clinched a bronze medal in the men’s individual all-around at the 2011 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan, solidifying his status as a world-class gymnast.
