Charlotte Gainsbourg, an accomplished Anglo-French actress and singer, was born in London in 1971 to English actress and singer Jane Birkin and French songwriter, singer, and actor Serge Gainsbourg. She made her film debut in 1984 and has since become known for her versatile performances in movies such as “The Science of Sleep,” “I’m Not There,” and “Antichrist.” Gainsbourg has also released successful albums like “5:55” and “IRM.” In 2009, she won the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival, and in 2022, she received Zurich’s Golden Eye for lifetime achievement. Some of her other notable works include “Charlotte for Ever,” “La Bûche,” and “Jane Eyre.”
