Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy was an American publicist who worked for Calvin Klein and gained widespread recognition as the wife of John F. Kennedy Jr. She was renowned for her exceptional fashion sense, often drawing comparisons to her mother-in-law, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Although she had a fear of public speaking, Bessette-Kennedy exuded elegance and poise in social settings. She was actively involved in philanthropic endeavors, including working with the American Cancer Society and promoting the arts. Tragically, she died in a plane crash in 1999 alongside her husband and sister.
