Caroline Kennedy, an American author, attorney, and diplomat, is best known as the daughter of President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. She currently serves as the United States Ambassador to Australia, a position she has held since 2022, and previously served as the United States Ambassador to Japan from 2013 to 2017. Caroline has written several books, including best-selling poetry collections and edited volumes of her parents’ writings. She has also co-authored two books on the U.S. Constitution with Ellen Alderman, titled “In Our Defense: The Bill of Rights in Action” and “The Right to Privacy.” A prominent advocate for women’s rights, Caroline has been involved in various political campaigns and charitable and educational organizations, such as the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation and the New York City Department of Education.
