Terry Ray Burch, widely known as Big T, was a renowned American rapper and battle rap veteran hailing from Chicago, Illinois. He rose to fame as a member of the battle group NWX and was recognized for his battles with Hollow Da Don, Tsu Surf, and K-Shine. Big T’s most well-known work featured his signature phrase “Chalaka-boo,” which he often used in his battles. In addition to his rap career, he made a memorable appearance in Lil’ Troy’s hit song “Wanna Be a Baller” and had a co-starring role in the film “Baby Boy.” Unfortunately, Big T passed away at the age of 52.
