Throughout his career, he played for 11 different Major League Baseball (MLB) teams, such as the Cleveland Indians, Montreal Expos, Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and Boston Red Sox. Colón holds the record for the most career wins (247) by a pitcher born in the Dominican Republic. A four-time All-Star, he also won the American League Cy Young Award in 2005.
