Andrew Cunningham Wilson, an American actor, writer, and director, is best known for his contributions to the film industry. Born in Dallas, Texas, Andrew was named after his paternal grandfather, Cunningham. His father, Robert Andrew Wilson, worked as a public television station manager and advertising executive, while his mother, Laura Cunningham Wilson, was a photographer and painter. Andrew and his brothers, Luke and Owen, were raised as Roman Catholics.
During college, Andrew was a member of the University of Texas Longhorn football team. Although he didn’t participate in any official games, he earned a spot as a walk-on player and practiced with the team.
