Ali Daei, an Iranian football manager and former professional player, is renowned for holding the world record for the most international goals scored in men’s football, with an impressive 109 goals. Daei played in the German Bundesliga for clubs such as Arminia Bielefeld, Bayern Munich, and Hertha Berlin, and captained the Iranian national team from 2000 to 2006. Widely regarded as one of the greatest Asian footballers ever, he has won numerous domestic and international titles and was named Asian Footballer of the Year in 1999 and 2004. Daei’s accomplishments include being the Iranian football league’s top goalscorer and leading his national team to qualify for the World Cup in 1998 and 2006. Besides his football career, Daei has found success in business, founding a sports marketing company and a seafood restaurant. He has also worked as a television commentator and participated in philanthropic efforts in Iran, including serving as a UNICEF ambassador.
